GGG should be taking less to get opponents in the ring with him not making the fans shell out for a BS ppv...but hbo set terrible precedent when they pay him 1.75 to fight monroe simply bc they are tying to compete with haymon purses
The precedent was set way earlier. For example they paid 3m for Ward Rodriguez. This one cost them 1/2 as much, and ended up much better received, with packed stands, multiple KDs etc
