i know everyone hates pbc and loves to stroke hbo but if what we are hearing is right that means none of these fights we want are going to happen they cant afford it and any halfway decent fight being on ppv doesnt seem very good for boxing. i dont know it just seems like all week we keep hearing about how fightsd cant be made cause hbo cant afford it and really the only things they got scheduled are ppv fights. One things for sure arum and the others will not just sit around and put up with it no doubt they will go back to showtime and let the 2 out bid eachother. i dont understand why hbo cant just increase their boxing bank tho their ratings were very good in the spring

Everything we heard from the Froch fight was that it was pretty much down to if Froch wanted to retire or not. Money did'nt seem to be an issue.
I also don't see anything greedy about two fighters looking to get paid in a very meaningful fight. This is'nt some life or death medicine we are talking about here. Its a God damn boxing match. If people think its a money grab or not worth the buy then they don't have to buy it. Also while I'm not going to make Lemieux seem like a world beater, the guy just destroyed a good opponent in N'Dam and is the IBF champ.Comment

yes its a slave contract when u gone on to make 32 million a fight..and hbo was paying less than 1.5 per fight...they had not promises..you win u dont go up unless they offer u lose and u get donaired...
ggg has been makin that 1.5 or close to consistently...tom will have to protect him from losses while hbo sits on a duppy budget...fans wont get tired of him any time soon b/c he's average enough to have a long as it lasts war with david Lem.
GGG should be A ok..he has ducking supportComment

If HBO weren't in the business of financing Bumlovkin's Bum of the Month tour then there would have been enough money in the coffers to put this fight on regular HBO - where it belongs. I'm about two seconds from cancelling my HBO subscription...Comment

I exactly what I said in previous thread today when a ****** tried to throw ward not headlining a ppv yet, HBO don't have the budget to pay both guys purses they want so threw it on ppv to cover it not because triple G ready to breakout into ppv star he still hopping for a Canelo/cotto or Floyd fight to actually become that starComment
