You're right - absolutely nothing at all...

Had everything to do with being scared of thst ass whoppin!

Hahah Hopkins knows he can't afford to lose TO ANOTHER , as he calls them, "white boy."

He already can't show his face in certain parts of PHILLY without little black boys walking in NV
Damn! The hate is real deep huh? Smh...I'm not even gonna waste keys on chastising your corny ass

Hop don't need to fight IRRELAVENT fights at his age...Abe is the perfect fight and opponent for him

had it scored for calzaghe when i watched the fight WITH commentary 7-5 for calzaghe
WITHOUT commentary had it 8-4 for Hopkins plus the KNOCKDOWN in the first round.

but he did lose to sergey kovalev last year but its a so so performance on behalf of kovalev imo he is supposedly the most feared man in boxing(which is nowhere near tru, Rigondeaux is by far) he went the distance with a 50 YEAR OLD MAN. i just cant rate that as to be on the kovalev wagon if the same kovalev wouldve stepped in the ring with a B Hop who faced an Antonio Tarver it wouldve clearly been a different story
these white boys STILL mad at B Hop when he said "i'd never lose to a white boy"
well in his Prime he sho nuff didnt and through racial politics in boxing he was jobbed of the win against calzaghe
all these white boys lookin' for some kind of "great white hope" and they STILL havent found it and will NEVER find it
when Ward(who is like a B Hop in his prime) fully grows into 175 he CLEANS OUT the division

Absolutely zero point fighting a guy without a title who hasn't proved anything in the sport yet. Not sure why people are even talking about it. Hopkins is almost 51, he's not going to mess around with some random up & comer that MIGHT be considered good one day or might not.

Beterbiev is going to have to find someone else to make his name off of besides a shot Cloud and a 51 year old coming off a fight with a guy Beterbiev wants no part of.

If anyone has earned the right to pick whoever they want to fight last it's Hopkins. Man has paid his dues and then some.

Why would hopkins take a beiterbeiv fight...

Little money, no title, and fighting a much younger and bigger power puncher

Abraham fight makes much more sense on every level

                      Yes, this!

This is entirely different to the Floyd situation, there is nothing to fight for here.

Bhop has fought them all, never picked and choose when he was at the pinnacle of his career and even when he was in his late 40s the man was still fighting the best and most dangerous guys about he is a true all time great.
