Ward has a physical advantage over triple G and also has a higher skill level than froch or chavez jnr......so it's natural to bring things down to a level playing field at 164....ward can't even make 168 at the moment so he has no right calling for a smaller golovkin when he has kovalev right in front of him with only 3 pounds separating them instead of 13 pounds it is at the moment with golovkin......ward should grow some balls and fight kovalev instead of picking fights with naturally smaller men....marvin hagler use to do that as well

Yep, and we dont have HBO or Shotime, or any of that other shht.

Everything comes through Sky TV, standard scheduling and PPV.

I watch boxing and Game of Thrones, the rest is shht.

      Not into American sports.

      Mayweather/Pacquiao was $40

Which is why I cannot understand the latest fanboy fascination with networks/tickets/etc..... most real boxing fans prefer the fights and dont make childish excuses to protect their guy.

Well, then its natural for 153lb Cotto to demand a catchweight from GGG.

Especially considering that Golovkin offered Mayweather 154.

        Right ?

Or do you have a nice convenient set of double-standards that you wish to display, like the other Hypekin fans?

If David knew how to pace himself and control his "excitement" then this could be an interesting competitive match-up, but unless Lemieux catches GGG cold out the gate then I think this will be a clinical disection by Golovkin

Well I guess Ggg doesn't need a tune-up to go up in weight and face Wards best scalp on his home turf. Funny that. And you're taking it against him lol.

So you think Ward is fighting a 175 tune-up like Fonfara next on that undercard?
Hey man... I already said it's acceptable for GGG to get a tuneup fight if he agrees to fight Ward at 168.

And no matter how you slice it, nobody would bring GGG the notoriety, fame and money that Ward would bring him (above 160).

Sorry to inform you but GGG vs CHAVEZ is barely a sell-able fight. Who's going to buy that fight? Certainly not Americans.

Froch vs. GGG is also not a big money fight in the US. And it doesn't matter anyway because Ward already beat Froch.

WARD is the GOD of the 168lb division and GGG knows that.

No need to talk about this one anymore though because GGG still has to prove himself against the likes of David Lemiux. Lemiux is a B- class fighter (being generous). Every single fighter that Andre Ward beat in the super six (including Allan Green) is superior to David Lemiux.

            Good debate tho.

You got to read bro. I already spoke on that and answered it in my original post . I did a copy and paste below.

And GGG could have taken a tuneup at 168 if he would have agreed to face Andre at 168. I'm sure HBO would have aired GGG's tuneup. But this all null and void because GGG has shown he fears losing to Andre Ward. Fight will probably never happen on an even playing field. GGG knows he can't beat SOG in a fair fight.

Ward has had one fight at LHW already. How many more before you realise - Ward is not going to fight Kovalev.
