    And we certainly dont understand why a boxing fan would accept that rubbish and use it as an excuse.

    I do know that Golovkin is not the A-side with Cotto/Canelo..... so I cant wait to see you flip-flop shamelessly when it comes to that negotiation.
    Reliably ******. I'm explaining to the guy what A side means. I don't have to condone it, its a reality of the sport.

    Of course those guys are A side, it wasn't long ago Loeffler was saying Ggg is fine being C side to Cotto. Though with the way Gggs popularity keeps skyrocketing, things may change quick

      You have used it as an excuse on numerous occasions.

        If Golovkin retired today, he would be forgotten tomorrow.

        He has done absolutely nothing to carve a meaningful legacy.

        Nothing !

        And yet today, his fanboys think that he should have the power to avoid/disadvantage prospective opponents based on his ticket sales.

        SMFH

        We appear to have two distinct groups of fans now.

        One group focus primarily on legacy and meaningful fights.

        The other group focus mainly on ticket sales and TV numbers.

        The fact is, it doesn't matter how many tickets Hypekin sells today, because unless he fights some meaningful opponents his tickets/numbers will be forgotten tomorrow, along with him.

            It's OK man, Floyd will fight at least one more time, you can lay off the panic pedal for a little while.

              anyone who thinks this will be an easy fight for GGG is crazy. lemieux is going to bring it and has huge punching power. lemieux would KO anyone right now at 160 not named GGG and that's the truth.

              very good fight and has potential for FOTY.

                Maybe you aren't aware.....

                Team Ward have stated that he is a SMW, and will continue to fight there.

                Obviously the inactivity affected Ward, he is working his way back to 168.

                His next fight will be at 170.

                Losing that 4lb over the space of 3 fights is.....
                * much easier
                * less risky
                * will help preserve his career

                Just a continuation of the smart decision making exhibited by Team Ward.

                Sorry to burst your bubble

                  I'm not gonna buy his upcoming fight, so why would I care about the one after that?

                  No top opponent = no care.

                  Which is why I have no interest in Hypekin.

                    Bullshht !

                    Lemieux is just another mid-level tough guy, nothing more.
