GGG's people were after him at least since last summer, since Chavez backed out. Froch was p4p rated most places, unlike back when he lost to Ward, and was the clear #1 active SMW.
If there was a S6 tournament at MW and GGG was in it, nobody else would sign up. Most of these guys have already passed multiple times.
