Now that was an interesting street from this person...don't know if it's credible but it definitely seems like a Team garcia move to avoid the Khan rematch.
I think Khan is arguably the lowest hanging fruit on the list since he already KO'd him. I don't think a guy should be wanting to fight a guy he already KO'd. Granted Guerrero is the 2nd least appealing opponent on the list, but tbh for Garcia, outside of the Peterson fight, anything is a move up.

There are many better Haymon managed fighters Garcia could fight if he really believes he is the best welterweight in the world. I like the Khan rematch best. Let these two bragging cherry pickers show which one is for real if either of them are.
Garcia fight aside, I could do without seeing Guerrero getting knocked out after his last two fights. He was dropped hard in both.

Mediocre fight. Not terrible at all.

After this Garcia is going to fight bums for two years before fighting another shot fighter perhaps Alexander if he is shop worn enough.

No way does Khan get the Pac fight. Pac got old, and now he is slowly doing rehab. Pac does not want that at this stage in his career. He would've once destroyed Khan, but that time is long gone.

Pac either comes back for a softer touch, or my guess, a Floyd rematch. Floyd knows Pac is worn out.

Garcia vs Guerrero is a meer illusion. If this were the ghost pre-Thurman id be a little excited even though hes inactive but Ghost is now shot & is barely a top 20 fighter. As for Thurman vs Porter, its a good fight, but after seeing Porter walk into a counter & get dropped against Broner & Mosley catching him off balance sparring, i think 1X will shine. But dang Haymon sure has his favorites, its obvious who gets to sleep in the house & who dont, looks like Porter sleeps outside with the Messicans.

Oh look, Garcia trying to get his butthurt mexican bitterness from the Herrera spanking out by fighting Robert "I was almost knocked out by and lost to Aaron Martinez" Guerrero.

                exciting fights

Thank You Al Haymon for these two exciting fights! Garcia is working his way into his new division, unlike some 33 year old hype job.

I personally don't think Guerrero is done but he does need to use his boxing skills more instead of going toe to toe. If he does fight Garcia he has a good chance of pulling the upset, but he does need to use that jab more

I knew Garcia would take things slow at 147, but Paulie and Guerrero?
Those guys are shot to bits. Weak stuff.
