Should be a pretty good scrap and since Guerrero has forgotten how to box defensively it suits Garcia pretty well.

Now out of that list of 4 names I could see why people would say that is the weakest one. Still I think Guerrero will perform a bit better in this fight than he did in his last fight (easier to get up for this one) and Garcia is a grinder by nature so I think that suits Guerrero's current style.

garcia is no prospect so STFU, he is older than canelo(spence too) and had been consistently doing cws, how is that different?
and by the way, im not crying, i just think that if canelo deserves criticism for fighting 1 lb over the limit so does danny, what is wrong with that?

Pretty worthless fight. At this point in his career he should be fighting better competition. He's completely shook.

Garbage fight. Guerrero is shot to ****, both physically and mentally, he is on Chad Dawson's level now.

All the bragging the Garcia's are doing about crushing all the best welterweights but they fight mediocre guys like Paulie and now Guerrero. At least rematch your fellow cherry picker Khan. Apparently the Garcia's don't really believe in Danny's fighting ability or they would be matching him into top 10 world rated welterweights and not Guerrero who is way down near 30th by boxrec.

How many cw fights does Danny have since becoming a champion? You're complaining about "all" of garcias cw but they came from when he was a prospect

Here is the thing with meaning in a fight like this~

Sure on the surface the meaning is kind of meh since it is basically a low end top 10 showdown. Both guys do have decent name recognition though in boxing circles. So if the fights turns into a ****er it will mean a lot more than it otherwise should, and I do think it stands a solid chance of being a good TV friendly action fight.

If the fight is blah it does not mean that much but the winner would still be in solid position at 147.

it ill be a shame to have cws while being a title holder, still hes done that at least a couple of times... fighting cws while holding a title is even worst than fighting one pound over the limit on non-title fights... cws vs salka or pederson didnt came when he was a prospect, he was a title holder...
again im not saying canelo shouldnt be criticized , but you giving danny a pass is a joke..

For Garcia its a good fight to gradually work his way in to top welters but he wont be able to avoid them too much longer. He really needs to avoid getting hit so much using his waist, moving his head, blocking or his legs. If he cant do that against guerrero he"ll get busted up and haymon wont save him from guys like thurman(on the scorecards).
