It's not unreasonable to assume anything but it's still just speculation.

It's speculation but if someone were to say Margarito had loaded wraps against Cotto and any fight for that matter they would have a leg to stand on.

We'll never know for sure but he's always going to have a question mark over his career and that win over Cotto especially.

At the top level, that's what would probably happen. He "passed" his eye exam for the Cotto fight too, that didn't stop it from getting re injured. Whatever, it should be fun to see either of Canelo/Cotto/Golovkin beat up Brickarito again.

Bob Arum had to go through six specialists to finally 'find' one endorsing Margo return. And even one week before the fight there were talks of canceling the event and/or moving the venue since the NYSAC didn't want to approve the eye. Rumor is that Arum 'convin$ced' them and we all saw what happened with doctors very eager to stop the fight (which they finally did although it appeared Margo could continue and close the fight strong while cotto had stamina issues in the past). I believe Antonio`s eye is permanently damaged and any sequence of punches in that area would prompt any doctor or referee to stop any fight again. Margo should stay retired forever.

Margarito ever fighting again after he got caught is a prime example of how corrupt boxing can be, not only was he allowed to fight, he also made the 3 biggest paydays in his career and was allowed to fight a major fight with a damaged eye that could'vegone blind in the fight.
