Ok lets tell it like it is ......

Ive known Tony Margarito since 1999 Ive watched his hands wrapped hundreds of times I have NEVER seen anything illegal. I watched his hands wrapped for Cotto ! I was as close as the Commission Insp There was NOTHING illegal in his wrap for that fight, Tony beat Cotto into submission legally & legitimately.
Cotto wasn't interested in any rematch until he knew Tony's eye was permanently damaged He targeted that eye knowing it would close. He deliberately laced the eye with the inside of his glove too which the ref ignored. Tony was blind in that eye from round 2 but the doctor didn't think about stopping the fight till Cotto started to wilt & Tony was beating his chest. The doc stopped the fight to save Cotto from the embarrassment of quitting on his knees AGAIN!!!
I know Tony Margarito NEVER cheated & its criminal that his career was impeded & his good name tarnished by a BLATANT LIE from a worthless POS
Having known Tony all these years I understand why he wants to come back he is & always was A FIGHTER!!!!He knows he got deprived of another win over Cotto & would like nothing better that to get another crack at the pretty in pink girl.
I sincerely hope he never fights again, I know he doesn't need the $$$$. I don't think his eye can take any more punishment & you know everyone he fights will immediately target it
All I know is I'm proud to have been a supporter & friend of a REAL Fighter for so many years God Bless Tijuana Tornado!!!!!

also cotto did say he didnt lose the second fight because he didnt get tired, this is what he siad after the second fight... before the fight he was blaming marg on cheating but after he won the rematch he seemed to back off on it.

I notice a lot of.posters mentioning how Margarito looked bad after being caught against Mosley....but, which fighter has ever looked good after taking that kind of beating?? I mean, Shane really put a beating on the guy. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single fighter that looked good in a comeback fight after something like that. So, if one wants to look at that as some type of evidence that he had been cheating all along, or at least against Cotto, I think it doesn't hold up. Also, if memory serves me right, he didn't even fight the same style of fight against Roberto Garcia as he did against Cotto or even in his loss to Shane. Looked to me as if he was actually trying to outbox Garcia instead of mow him down, at points.
