They can lie about how many times this protected fighter got tested for blood, put it on their website and no one will ever know whether it's true or not. They don't even preserve samples. They destroy them. And this is an agency that is supposedly hired to produce evidence of guilt or innocense. USADA is a big joke in boxing.

promoters dont like advanced testing. if they get a positive result and have to cancel the fight, theyre out of money. plus the cost of doing the testing in the first place.

it will never happen unless the commissions require it and they wont. for the low end fights, there isnt enough money to even provide the random testing. however, I think the commissions should pass rules for any purse above a certain amount, those fights should be required to have advanced random testing.

Basically this. Its never going to be in the best interest of the promoters to do random drug testing & the reality is fans don't give enough of a f#ck about positive tests anyway cuz previously caught people are still collecting checks cuz people wanna see them.

I'm notoriously pro-PEDs at this point, but if you wanna really stop PED usage the commissions will need to be the entity influenced into doing so & this pre-fight & post-fight **** isn't preventing anything unless a guy was the dumb guy in special ed classes.

The fact no one really gives a f#ck about stopping PEDs is part of the reason I'm pro-PEDs. You can't be the anti-crime governor yet living in a state against DNA testing for murderer suspects which is basically whats going on.
