Y'all a bunch of nerds... What type of testing does Main events do? Top Rank? Golden Boy? Why these type of articles only come out for Haymon and PbC. We know the person who wrote this is the biggest Top Rank shill ever..

I think most fans (non-haymon groupies) knew, contrary to what was being put out, it wasn't going to be straight up random testing - of course it's going to be fight by fight and each contract will have special Al Haymon approved terms. The problem with boxing is, a lot of reporters don't dig for the facts because they're scared of upsetting the wrong people and getting their credentials taken away. Just as worse tho, were the so many naive fans that ate that pr bull**** up and kept hollering in defense, "all pbc fighters are tested by usada, ydks."Comment

This so-called random testing is complete BS. How is it random when you know you're going to be tested any time during a set period? Gimme a break.
And yes, the before and after testing is enough. Who are we kidding? These are just for shows anyway. They're designed to mislead the public into believing they're getting tested. The commission has caught more cheaters based on post-fight urine samples. Who has USADA caught? A foreigner like Morales? And they still went ahead with the fight.Comment

A quick google search I did found a few articles that suggest that USADA testing can cost as much as $100k to test both fighters over the course of 8 weeks. $5,000 is probably closer to the cost of VADA. Shrug.
Either way the sport needs better testing standards.Comment

ummmmm because PBC had a big press conference where they bragged about every fighter going through olympic style drug testing.Comment

Considering VADA has caught guys like Berto and Peterson, you'd think that these promoters would be encouraged to go for the cheaper alternative. They don't. Well, it's surely more expensive to cancel fights, which is why USADA is needed regardless of the cost, then let USADA hide the offending test results.Comment

You didn't know it was a sham?
When John Molina tested positive for a diuretic for his fight with Adrien Broner on the inaugural PBC on NBC, broadcast, it was a urine test conducted by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. In fact in an article on TheSweetScience.com, a spokesman for USADA revealed to Michael Woods that they had not done any testing for John Molina"One thing I'm very excited about is USADA is heavily involved in this fight...everyone's going to be on an even playing field...the testing already has started...everyone's looking for a competitive edge," stated jr. welterweight contender John Molina, who talked about the USADA drug testing that's taking place for his upcoming showdown with former world champion Adrien Broner.
