To the Floyd fan, any fight where Floyd does not get Koed, he dominated. Floyd doesn't actually have to land any thing telling from his end. The Canelo Floyd fight was boring because Floyd is very evasive and he didn't really want to engage very much.

Cotto is not as evasive as Floyd so he will have to do more fighting. This fight should be more action packed, until Cotto goes down.

People love Mayweather so much they see things that do not exist. I've watched that fight several times. Mayweather never came within a light year of dropping Canelo. He never landed one meaningful punch. He hit Canelo's gloves the vast majority of time. That is the art of Mayweather fighting. He hits the gloves and maintains a "safe" distance. His groupies are fooled into believing he landed something.

That was a boring fight because of Mayweather's movement. No one is afraid of Mayweather's punching power. If Mayweather is such a ferocious puncher that caused so much "fear" in Canelo and others, where are the KOs?, where are the knockdowns?, where are the cuts? Where is the swelling on the face from taking numerous good punches. They don't exist. Mayweather is a difficult fighter because of his reflexes, his anticipation, movement and defense, not because of his punching power.

People love to post the GIF of l'il Cotto hurting Canelo. If someone were to cause him to fear it should have been Jose Cotto, who really landed something on him far greater than anything Floyd did. He came back and KOed Cotto.

A GIf anybody posts from the Canelo-Floyd fight is always a glancing blow or a punch that did zero damage.
