It was Cotto's worst loss and Canelo's best win, but it means nearly nothing to Cotto because, as stated, he has a much better body of work.

Again, back to my point that because Canelo has had it soft, his few quality wins are far overblown. Just like the loss is far overblown, you don't have to be a stan to see Cotto is a different fighter than he was against Trout. Canelo has been the same since Lopez, there is no change.

There is no bias in that. Like Hopkins says about Canelo, he is on Canelo's side but he is keeping it real. I do the same thing with Cotto. I've been wrong 3 times out of his 40+ fights. I thought he'd beat Margarito in the first fight, it really should be a no contest.

When he fought Manny I really thought it was 50/50. But I admitted I wanted Cotto to win and made a bias pick, so I rode with him as I wasn't sold on Manny's chin at 147 at the time. I said Cotto would lose to Floyd though give him his toughest fight and got the Trout fight wrong.

The first fight with Marg could be considered a mulligan for various reasons. My record regarding Cotto fights is pretty solid because I do a good job of putting my emotions aside because I live in Vegas and bet on sports. I know emotions **** things up so believe it or not, when making a pick I don't troll and try keep things neutral.
ok, i see your point, but i was debating the trout fight with aldo, thats why i mentioned cotto-trout too when you came into the conversation ...

Those guys don't stand a chance. Lots of KOs in there. Maybe Vanes....he went on to call out and fight Lara. But c'mon most of those guys are just as bad as Lopez coming off his most impressive outing as a professional.

Lopez was coming of his career best performance TKO of Ortiz
And Canelo easily dominated and shut him out
If he fights like this vs Cotto than i give him a 50/50 chance
Is this canelos greatest victory? Discuss.
If im not mistaken Lopez had 1 fight at 147 against Ortiz. Then came up and fought Alvarez. Not to mention he was landing some good punches. It was a mismatch in size. Have to laugh at this being considered a great performance.

Vanes was being heavily avoided for a long time
I read he beat up many champs in the amateurs

It (Mosley) was a far more important performance than Josesito.

And, if you check, you will see Canelo won, just take Floyds **** out your eyes and you might see he finished the stronger of the too and even Lara knew he lost. It was close though, as fights between the two best guys in a division are bound to be. Canelo upped his game down the stretch though.
