Not even close, at least Delvin was a real JMW. Josesito Lopez was a JWW 2 fights before he fought Canelo at 154. And yes, while he beat Oritiz he was getting his ass kicked and down on every scorecard. Not taking away from his win but he won off of a punchers chance, not because he was the better fighter. It's closer to Ron Salka than Delvin Rodriguez and I'm not trolling, that is fact.

Where did I say I was proud? I said he beat Lopez ass exactly like he was supposed to and it was the day he separated himself from those guys and established he is amongst the elite, I was trying to bring some merit to OPs thread.

The win over Lopez didn't move me at all, he did exactly what he was supposed to do.

Canelo has had a good career so far, and is still quite young. When you consider the fact that he just turned 25, his record and performances look a lot better. I think Cotto could be his defining win.
