Not even close, at least Delvin was a real JMW. Josesito Lopez was a JWW 2 fights before he fought Canelo at 154. And yes, while he beat Oritiz he was getting his ass kicked and down on every scorecard. Not taking away from his win but he won off of a punchers chance, not because he was the better fighter. It's closer to Ron Salka than Delvin Rodriguez and I'm not trolling, that is fact.

It had to happen. It was only fair for Lopez. Ortiz was gonna fight Canelo at 154 if he beat Lopez, that was his comeback fight from the Floyd loss and then GBP was gonna make Canelo vs Ortiz. Lopez ruined GBP's plans and got the decent payday himself. To deny Lopez the Canelo fight is denying him of money that he earned, that would not be fair at all to any fighter, especially one of Lopez's caliber who doesn't come by those big fights quite often.

Lopez looked like he was barely filling out 140, he was dwarfed next to Canelo. Besides, that's literally the same argument used for Algieri landing the Pac fight, cause he beat the guy they were lining up for Pac, Ruslan. I doubt it was a good excuse then, even at a catchweight. Not to mention Ruslan was doing more impressive things than Ortiz had since the Floyd loss (nothing).

That was not the comeback fight after Floyd. That was his cherry picked before Austin Trout and after he beat an old shane mosley.

Canelo did exactly what he was supposed to do with him, wipe the floor with him after he took Vic Ortiz into DEEP waters, and went on to later rock MAIDANAS bell. Canelo completely seperated himself and established that he is HERE, and the other guys like Vic Ortiz who was supposed to be the guy in the ring that night, and Lopez are THERE. Punisher got into that accident so he wasn't an option anymore.

But Lopez, like a man went out on his shield. Unlike some other guys that Nelo beat.

So yeah, that was his best win. That was the high he separated himself from the pack and established he is in the upper echelon of fighters and not in the gauntlet with the rest.

Then he went on to leave Trout looking like an amateur with his jaw still missing somewhere under the mat in Texas. Which is his 2nd best win.

So a blown up lightweight, who's only fight at 154 was canelo, is Canelo's best win? And you're proud?
