But in the real world..... Khan cant beat Mayweather, and has done absolutely nothing to earn that fight.

Also, the fact that Khan has blatantly avoided dangerous opponents almost certainly counted against him.

He should have fought Brook when he had the chance.

And here is a dude that didn't read the article. You get a thumbs up for that bro,

...he feels its a much better fight in terms of styles and excitement than a potential fight between Khan and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
So 1) he was not comparing Pac/Khan to Pac/Mayweather, and 2) didn't mean in terms of how much it would draw.

        I will never understand that.

I will never understand why people call for Thurman/Brook/Khan to fight Mayweather, but nobody has those same expectations from Pacquiao.

How about Danny Garcia vs PAC. The winner fights Thurman! The winner of that will fight Floyd! Khan should fight kell brook.

            Some reasons might include...
            1) Mayweather is P4P #1, Pacquiao is not
            2) Mayweather is coming off of a major win, Pacquiao is not
            3) Mayweather is scheduled to face Berto, Pacquiao is not (in the last several months we've heard Arum mention Khan, Brook, Crawford and Matthysse)

Is this really THAT hard to understand?

EDIT: Is there even reason to believe that we don't want Pacquiao to fight someone good next

Khan is such a vulnerable fighter that any fight of his in comparison to whoever is likely to be more action packed. I'm not complaining though, I'd like to see Pacquiao take him out and I'll like Pacquiao again

Khan is probably more of a challenge to Pacquiao while it lasts. It would probably be a good fight until the KO punch from Pacquiao, even Khan being up on the scorecard at the time of the stoppage. While against Floyd it would be a clear UD win for Mayweather, with Floyd never being in any danger of losing a round.

                  Not sure, I hope not.

Its just that Mayweather is expected to fight the threats/killers, and yet very little was said when Pac selected mid-level 140lb'ers like Rios/Algieri.

There seems to be vastly different expectations from two guys who are supposed to be on the same level.

Pacquiao vs Soto Karass is better than Fraud vs Berto

                      This is true.

Would the Pacquiao fans dare admit they have loftier expectations for Floyd than they do for Manny?
