Any chance Haymon is involved in this somehow, behind the scenes? We already know he was trying to block Mosley/Mayorga II because he has Santa Cruz and Mares fighting on that night. Wouldn't surprise me if he encouraged King in this. Or maybe my extreme hatred of Haymon is making me jump to this conclusion .

He's done this to Mayorga before at least two other times. There was a card in which Mayorga was to fight Raul Munoz last year, where Don King sued and Mayorga was pulled from the card. Prior to that, there was to be an MMA fight with Mayorga that was cancelled as a result (this is why Mayorga had to go to south america for mma fights).

This will be canceled too I'm sure, since King keeps winning as he has the right to solely promote and make a profit off Mayorga in the states. Hell, when Mayorga fought Cotto he only made a few thousand dollars, as King took the rest to "payback" legal feels that Mayorga cost him!

I won't be sad when King dies, tbh.

No this is all King (see my above post). He's been suing Mayorga for years (anytime he tries to fight in the US). Mayorga has sued Don King as well (Ali Act). Don't remember the results. But King is under the impression that Mayorga is still under contract. He must have signed some evil lifetime contract years ago around the Forrest days, like Trinidad.

I don't get why anyone would sign with King. I mean, the information is out there and boxing is a small community if you want to hear stories straight from first hand sources.

Reminds of an album back in the 70s with Vasser Clements, David Grisman, Jerry Garcia... "Old And In The Way".

Hey Don, do boxing a favor.... Retire. Or croak off. Either will do just fine.

Not many people do these days. In regards to Mayorga he probably signed over 10 years ago and the small print read "I hereby give ownership of my soul to Don King".

Sounds like Mosleys lawyers raise some pretty solid points, good god.... Don King is the DEVIL. I miss his old school cards, but holy ****.
