Thing with Roach though, he dishes it out. Obviously mentioning his Parkinson's is bad taste, and I don't think anyone should mock him for it, but some of the stuff he fires off on, it almost seems like he's playing upto it also if that makes any sense? Knowing full well that anything in return could be throwned upon
Anyway, don't want to stray too far off topic on this one.Comment

It was obvious to me. The way Roger talked throughout the years just seemed to get worse and worse until you just couldn't understand him. In interviews it's like he's half there mentally.
At one point he was totally sharp. Able to rattle off tons of past fights and outcomes. Even recalling when he sparred Freddie Roach. But then it just went downhill.
I remember the video where Floyd was defending Roger against his dad at his gym.Comment

I really would hate to see him go- his fights haven't been great during this SHO contract but thre have been some huge events. He's still one of those names/faces who you'll only see once. Many good times I've had talking boxing, watching boxing, etc in the lead-ups to his fights. If only the legends never had to age!!
I want to see him be the first to fight in that new arena but even one fight can change it all. Definitely not my place to argue with his decision - he's put in all the work already and the drawbacks he alludes to with Roger are a reality he's seen played out many times as a boxer lifer. Well wishes to Roger as wellComment

you want fame and money that is the price you pay Roger knew this every boxer knows this lets not act like Roger is not to blame here lucky for him Floyd is there to back him up unlike other ex-boxers . so far give me if I don't have any pity towards him life is short and choices have consequences REAL TALK
THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT
