Just stop we all know Arum is clearly lying. I'll say it again HBO has invested it Ali's last two fights and both fights he was impressive in. Arum is full of crap and we all know it. Until I hear anything from HBO saying they turned this fight down I am not buying it. Ali is not some unknown fighter who's never been on HBO. Nor is he a boring fighter that stinks up the joint. Ali is just a tougher fight for Bradley and Arum knows it so rather put it off as long as he can. Ali is in that tough spot where is not yet a huge name in boxing but is too damn skilled that he is a high risk fight for a big name fighter. His shot will come

If HBO allows Bradley/Rios on the air, they are just as culpable as Arum. Arum can't make a fight on HBO if HBO doesn't allow it.

Bottom line is Rios generates $ Ali dont. Im sure HBO dont mind a Bradley vs Ali fight but when they weigh it against what a Rios fight would make especially with an Ali vs Vargas undercard its a no brainer. If ali whoops vargas & bradley beats rios we will see that fight, ali being on the undercard will be his showcase fight. People can say what they want about Arum but his fights for the most part are competitive. Most complaining are haymon lovers trying to take a swipe at arum but that card is 10x's better than haymons usual undefeated african american vs some mexican former fringe contenders son or former featherweight interim champ now fighting at ww. Lol gotta love hypocrisy of nsb.

Why does Ali need a showcase fight he's had 2 already on HBO. And why does he have to fight vargas first when he was promised the winner of the vargas vs Bradley fight. Ali earned his title shot not Rios who has done nothing at 147. I highly doubt Rios at this stage with the losses and bad performances he has racked up generates that much more ratings for HBO then Ali would. Ali is not a unknown fighter who has never been on HBO and is not being passed over for a huge name fighter like Mayweather who dwarfs Ali. I call BS the only one this benefits is Arum.

I believe Arum left out part of that statement, "I can't sell that fight, for the price I want".

HBO would buy that fight (Bradley-Ali)just Arum can do better with the other fight (Bradley-Rios)~

Exactly. Sadam Ali and Francisco Santana averaged 1 million, with a peak of 1.134 million tv rating for HBO his last fight. He is not a unknown non HBO fighter. Rios might be a bigger name because he has been around longer then the younger Ali. But it's not as drastic as Arum is making it seem. Rios being a in house and more importantly an easier fight for Bradley is why he is lobbying for it over Ali.

In house Bob at it again. First he says titles are meaningless, then later says he will work out a step aside deal with Ali. But yeah lets stick to the mantra that Haymon is the problem with boxing.

That would be amazing if Bradley knocked himself out.
