I've given my opinion on lineal titles several times, and also started a thread about it.

One problem is that most lineal title holders, like Cotto, have a lot of fans. In boxing, fan's loyalty to their favourite fighters usually trumps logic.

Promoters love lineal titles too .... when a fighter they promote is holding one.

No one cares how much time someone spends on here or how many posts they have, but when it comes to you, you're obsessed with Golovkin. You post more about GGG than GGG fans. You completely take over threads and post 10-15 posts in a row before anyone can post (try the multi-quote feature!). Like here in this thread you have 70 posts already when the next person up has 20 posts. That's 50 more posts than the 2nd most. Again, no one cares about post count, but you just flood threads constantly, talking about the exact same stuff you say in all the other threads. We get it, you don't like Golovkin, cool!

BTW, knowledgable fans never mention fight-night weight, because they know it is largely irrelevant, and can even be detrimental..... the total amount of muscle-mass and conditioning that you will take into the fight is determined at the weigh-in.

You also need to learn about fight preparation, and what a camp entails.

FACT: Canelo has never prepared for a middleweight fight.

When he does, he will weigh 160..... 160, you know, middleweight.
