If he beats Cotto, he better fight his mando peoples champ Ggg, you'd expect he would. In the meantime Ward should fight Kovalev, it only makes sense
    You said this.....

" Canelo Cotto are fighting for the MW lineal belt "

There is no such thing as a lineal belt, you asshat.

BTW, knowledgable fans never mention fight-night weight, because they know it is largely irrelevant, and can even be detrimental..... the total amount of muscle-mass and conditioning that you will take into the fight is determined at the weigh-in.

Nobody should have needed to explain that to you.

You also need to learn about fight preparation, and what a camp entails.

FACT: Canelo has never prepared for a middleweight fight.

When he does, he will weigh 160..... 160, you know, middleweight.

If you dont think he will be much stronger/sturdier, you really are naive.

Canelo currently weighs 155, Golovkin currently weighs 160.

And a simple google search will prove that, Mr google expert

It is fkn dumb to argue that a middleweight is not bigger than a JMW.

Actually, it is desperate..... why does Golovkin need your protection ?

So, you want to push Canelo up to middleweight..... and you want to push Ward up to LHW..... and this all needs to happen immediately..... ok then, fine..... anything to keep Lovekin safe and warm

Honest fans should only pursue their own interest, which should consist in getting the best possible fights (within a given context), according to the actual rules of the sport.

In the case here we have Golovkin who publicly challenged Martinez, Alvarez, Cotto, Quillin, Lee, Lemieux (at 160), Mayweather (at 154), Chavez, Jr, Ward, Froch (at 168)... From all these above only Ward and Lemieux positively responded -- but only recently... Ward, because of his career low status; Lemieux, apparently because ODLH suddenly forced him... In the given context, Golovkin chose the Lemieux unification fight at 160, which was the natural step to undertake. As Golovkin is now after all the belts at 160, he doesn't have to fight neither Ward nor Lara (who both represent unnecessary risk fights, given his short term goal)...
Hmmm..... what are you referring to here ?

      Explain the bold to me.

Are you saying this...... that the lies and hype that have emanated from Team Golovkin about being avoided, and about being willing to fight anyone from 154-168..... the same lies that were the foundation of his PR campaign for the last 3-4 years..... were rubbish all along..... and not only that, but you knew that they were rubbish all along...... and not only that, but you actually think that is OK ?

Surely I have the wrong impression here ?

Maybe you are happy being lied to and manipulated, and maybe you think that is ok..... but I most certainly do not !

Team Golovkin are full of it.

A CW in a title fight is a private arrangement between the two fighters and their teams, which they must both agree on and add to the contract during negotiations. To the sanctioning body controlling the fight, who's title will be on the line, the CW is irrelevant.

As far as the WBC are concerned, their MW title will be awarded to the winner at the standard weight limit for a MW fight, which is 160lbs.

If you fight for a MW title, you are fighting as a MW, end of story.
A middleweight fight takes place at 160, and has done..... well, forever.

Only a very ****** casual fan is not aware of that.....
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middleweight

If an additional weight sanction is imposed, for whatever reason, the fight OBVIOUSLY becomes a catchweight fight...... a catchweight fight within the middleweight range, but a catchweight fight nonetheless.

I had to bold the important word because of your lack of reasoning and common-sense

        Keep trying kid !

... Ward said he would fight Kovalev next year only if he fights GGG this year... Ward knew that, at this stage, GGG has complicated unfinished business at the MW. He put these conditions in order not to be fulfilled and then to entitled to say: "... look, I wanted to fight them both, but GGG ducked when I wanted him, therefore I will not fight Kovalev ..." a.s.o.
            AHAHAHAH

Far too complicated for simple little Andre Ward..... I get it

Thats what I think, and good for them.

This fight has been discussed for years, and it was only ever mentioned at 154, until Martinez.

Those guys are OBVIOUSLY both junior middleweights, regardless as to what ABC trinket Cotto accidentally picked by winning a money-fight with Martinez.

That fight was only ever mentioned at 154.

Now the golovtards see another cheap win for Hypekin.

They want to push Cotto/Canelo up to MW, and push Ward up to LHW.

Wow, aren't the fighters of today lucky to have such knowledgable concerned caring fans..... and just wow again, arent we lucky that they are all weight experts, and can tell instantly where a particular fighter should be campaigning.

Those decisions used to be made by the fighter and his team

Sugar Ray Robinson weighed in at 145
to fight LaMotta for the Middleweight belt.
You reek of dopey casual fan kid.....

Get off your fat ass and roll down to the gym.

Actually attempt to make weight for once, so you develop a clue.

You are clearly a " guesser "..... like HeroBando.

Actually, I know you..... you are a silly pacstain, like HeroBando.

OK kid, 145 is middleweight coz Robinson did it, gotcha

                      Absolutely !

The fans of today really seem to be clueless.

ABC straps have been worthless for decades.

Todays crop of boxing fans are fixated with rubbish, just look at the content of this thread..... asshats crying about ABC straps, lineage, rehydration weight..... stating that guys who have never had anything remotely to do with the middleweight division, are middleweights because they come in 1lb over out of entitlement.

                      ******ity abounds.
