Do you think Floyd could have beat Tommy Hearns at 147?

This is one of my all time favorite mythical match ups. I am curious to see how some of the boxing heads think this match up would have played out.

No. Unfavorable style matchup. Hearns was a huge welter

Can't see any way Floyd wins.

He probably see's the final bell after going into survival mode early.

No...SRR n tommy hearns are just too big skilled and powerful for may weather who started @ 130....add in their speed too

Horrible match up because of styles n measurements

He may go the whole 12 but potshotting isn't gonna cut it...no one ever outboxed hearns...they had to brawl n get inside to win and idt Floyd would be aggressive enough

Floyd just happens to be a great fighter that held titles at ww and SWw...he was past his prime @ 147....slower, not much power, lack in multiple combos

Its amazing he's been successful 10+ lbs past his best weights

Had a flashback of that Duran fight for some reason. It may not end that way, but it came to mind.

Cant see floyd being agressive enough, wilfred benitez a master of defence couldnt beat hearns. Hearns had it all
