Peter Quillin & Floyd Mayweather are entirely different cats. If Mayweather wanted Cotto after Cotto beat Canelo no one is gonna stop the money from flowing in their direction.

And everyone is gonna have money coming their way, the fighters, Haymon & Jay Z. And the WBC will get their 3% of $50M-$100M+ or w/e & be praising satan they won't just be getting their 3% of $20M or less of Cotto vs GGG or 3% of GGG vs some random guy for $5M or less if Cotto just dropped the belt.

Pretty Much After Mayweather beats Canelo for a second time at a 154.5 Catchweight, he will retire and GGG will fight whoever his WBC Mandatory is for that belt which in all assumption would be Canelo

So Pretty much with this Scenario, Canelo would have 3 losses by either 2016 or 2017. Yes I am Counting GGG as a loss for Canelo, OBVIOUSLY.
Hey idiot, Canelo won zero rounds vs Floyd, why the fuc would their be a rematch?

Cotto only won 2 rounds.what's your point.

Funny thing is that canelo and even guerrero landed more punches on mayweather than pacquiao did.

How many times have people got to say it until it gets through your thick head, Andre Ward has no pulling power he is a non-relevant name in comparison to Floyd Mayweather, Carl Froch and Chavez Jr.
Andre Ward can move down to 160lbs If he so badly wants it, GGG badly wanted the Floyd fight so he was willing to come down to 154 why can't that coward you worship do the same?

why do boxing fans ignore the facts.

the facts are gbp are suing al haymon for 9 figures.
top rank is suing al haymon
roc nation and haymon have music industry beef that has spilled over to boxing.

mayweather isn't fighting anybody outside of al haymon's stable.

if Floyd fights again, it will be Thurman, danny, or khan with brook and porter on the outside looking in

For the money involved that would be guaranteed for Cotto or Canelo as the opponent of Mayweather lawsuits get dropped & rivalry's paused (as the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight happening showed which is a fight I was even saying would never happen cuz of the Floyd vs Bob beef). Like the saying goes, money talks & bull**** walks. A lot of disagreements would disappear if enough money comes into view.

                Canelo is not beating Cotto.

After Miguel finish exposing him once again, he will fight Floyd for them both retirement fights. Now, that would be the fight of the century!

Two destined HOF, fighting for greatness! Floyd for his 50-0, and yet another division and Cotto trying the imposible of taking Floyd's "0" and retiring as the Linear MW and the man who defeated Floyd!!

I think Oscar will drop the suit if mayweather gives canelo another shot.

You could also ask why Ward doesn't move up and fight Kovalev, like he said he would, instead of hassling a MW.

Oh yeah, because moving up, then back down, is not an option. Not for Andre, anyway. But, obviously, his fans apply different standards to other fighters.

Yes. Because most of the rounds Floyd won were by the difference of a punch, or two. He stole some rounds. Fight wasn't close on paper but highly competitive chess match early in the fight.
