I can guarantee u that nobody would be saying that he's ducking berto had he chose khan or Thurman or brook.

If he fought brook, thurman or khan it would of been ok. All better options than berto lol and ggg at 154 would be drained, would not want that fight.

Berto is literally consider the butt of jokes, for years they said all you have to do to get a floyd fight us beat berto, i guess berto is getting rewarded for being a stepping stone.

Floyd should have just fought khan, beat him up, or fight thurman or brook. Berto is a poorer version of broner, berto has no pressure fighting no foot work, cant fight off the back foot, if floyd doesnt gatti berto he is not great, being great is also how you win, you must throw hard punches with authority and make statements.

Lol Ghost is way better than ****ing Rios whose only claim to fame is going to war with another POS boxer in Alvarado come on now dude

I would have preferred Thurman but Floyd EARNED a tune up before going forward 50

I think Floyd shoulda fought Danny

Obviously that would've required Danny passing on the Paulie fight (big f**king deal, so he passes on a fight with a corpse who is known more for his mouth than what he ever did inside the ropes)

Floyd would sweep the full 12 against Danny, Danny couldn't even touch Lamont f**king Peterson, how the hell would he even dream of touching Mayweather

Would've been a much better way to go out (if he indeed is going out) than motherf**king Berto, Danny's a young, undefeated champ with a name, meanwhile Berto is the 22nd rated fighter in his division

And what's in it for Danny? Well hey, it would be the biggest payday of his career, and on top of that he'd have the experience of being in the same ring with Floyd Mayweather for 12 rounds

thurman? lets be honest what has he done to earn the fight? khan i agree but honestly it got to the point where no body wanted to see it anymore and lets be honest this fight will be more exciting then a thurman where mayweather would just box to victory i think he was fight on the inside with berto

If you mean by better resume and reputation, then sure

But in reality they're the same f**king guy at this point

They both fight in a phone booth, have zero f**king defense, are turnstile plodders, and have moderate power

In fact, f**king Rios probably has a level up in the chin & power department at this stage

The only people capable of making this statement could not have watched the Berto/Lopez fight. Berto struggled just as much if not more against Lopez, who is a meh level fighter. He was getting outboxed by a c-level boxer, and pulled out the stoppage. Now a win is a win, I'm not trying to take that away from Berto. But he looked like **** in the process.

No, both would be credible opponents. Of the available options Mayweather chose someone who has been fighting once a year against subpar competition and not looking good in the process. That would not be a credible opponent.

Lmao agreed. But I'd take it a step further even. The only people who would be upset with Mayweather fighting Thurman or Brook are Khanturds.
