WBC and WBA clearly getting huge fees from Mayweather so they let him do what he wants and wouldn't dare try to order him to take his Mandatory. They even go as far as working their Rankings around Mayweather, I think Berto the WBA Interim Champion at 147
What is preventing the young guys from being stars is their hesitation to fight each other.

So no one believes Mayweather's talk of retirement, including Thurman. This is not good. Fighters get away with making it as an excuse not to fight meaningful fights because of it. Mayweather really needs to make it official.

Because, until he retires, Thurman cant move on and fight a top welter ?

Thurman is not the silly **** here.

Mayweathers retirement date has been set-in-stone for years.

Thurman - and the others - intentionally avoided tough competition heading toward September..... and now that Thurman does not have enough time to earn that payday by fighting, he is trying to earn it by talking..... just like Khan.

Thurman is not the silly **** here.

All of the people who say that Thurman earned that fight are the silly ****s.

Some blame has to go to Al Haymon too. Khan, Thurman and Garcia are his B Level cashcows in the WW division (Floyd being the A Level cashcow).

These guys could make it into the A level cashcow bracket once Floyd retires so its in Al's interest to keep these guys ticking over with winnable fights. Not saying Haymon will put them in with bums but winnable fights. I mean Thurman got a list of 1 boxer he could face for his last fight. One boxer which was Collazo. That's all he had to choose from.

Haymon wants to prolong their careers as much as possible by keeping them undefeated and taking his 15% or whatever he takes for every fight..

Chances of Floyd fighting Ortiz again,is way better than fighting Khan or Thurman.

I do think Belt Organizations ordering fights could really help get these young guys fighting each other though. Start ordering more eliminators and more Mandatory's would really help. But when you just accept bigger fees and letting guys do what they want it becomes a big mess.

Just saying, if WBC ordered Mayweather to take his Mandatory, we would have gotten Mayweather vs Khan. If WBA ordered him to take his Mandatory then Thurman would have gotten his shot at Mayweather. Same with Lara at 154. Instead WBA have these ***ing "SUPER CHAMPIONS" and "World Champion" I have no ***ing clue what that is and why they have that, I guess just more ways to collect more fees from different fighters but it is so ******!
