WBC and WBA clearly getting huge fees from Mayweather so they let him do what he wants and wouldn't dare try to order him to take his Mandatory. There is no one on Floyd`s level left. GGG would have a punching chance, but still, he is not an elite fighter. Thurman was hurt against Collazo and Karass. Porter lost against Brook. Brook was hurt against Carson Jones. Khan was KOd by Garcia. There is no diference, Floyd just picked one of these fighters. He could have chosen Garcia, but Garcia needs more experience in 147 division.

When Floyd and Manny retire, the new era of ww division will begin. Lets hope there will be a lot of good fights between these guys.

WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith Thurman (26-0, 22KOs) is going to continue his chase of Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs) until the pound-for-pound king officially retires.
