That is what he SHOULD DO! "You're Now In My Way Old Man" either retire or give up those belts you're holding hostage which is keeping young guys at 147 and 154 from being Champions and Potential Stars! WBC and WBA clearly getting huge fees from Mayweather so they let him do what he wants and wouldn't dare try to order him to take his Mandatory. They even go as far as working their Rankings around Mayweather, I think Berto the WBA Interim Champion at 147

he would, thurman might be able to bank a few rounds and keep it competitive but floyd would see all that ish coming. thurman has nothing for floyd, only cus floyd is 40 is what makes any of these ww matchups a little interesting. brook khan thurman porter etc need to all be fighting each other. lets move on from the floyd pac mess that era is over

I think the Floyd from the Judah fight to the Canelo fight would beat Khan, Brook, Porter, and Thurman on the same night.

Translation: "I'll continue to fight Bundu-type opponents until I get my shot at Mayweather." He's learning from Brook.

Thurman has to stop chasing Floyd before he starts looking like Khan, he sounds like he's just looking for a payday. I'm a BIG fan of his but he doesn't have ENOUGH big name fights under his belt to warrant a fight with the best in the division. He has a interim belt, he didn't take it from anyone. Fight Porter, Brook or Khan then come back to the table.

There is no one on Floyd`s level left. GGG would have a punching chance, but still, he is not an elite fighter. Thurman was hurt against Collazo and Karass. Porter lost against Brook. Brook was hurt against Carson Jones. Khan was KOd by Garcia. There is no diference, Floyd just picked one of these fighters. He could have chosen Garcia, but Garcia needs more experience in 147 division.

When Floyd and Manny retire, the new era of ww division will begin. Lets hope there will be a lot of good fights between these guys.

Thurman had hoped to face Mayweather on September 12th. Instead, Mayweather announced last week that he was going to defend his WBC/WBA super welterweight belts against Andre Berto in the main event of a Showtime Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Let's be honest, does anyone think Thurman would have a realistic chance against Floyd?

The exact same gameplan that put him in this position in the first place.
