Probably because there weren't sportsbooks putting Pacman as high as 100/1 favorite, just a thought doe.

Firstly, he didn't wipe the floor with Pacquiao. He beat him, purely on activity. He did little-to-no visible damage and the fighter who looked wobbled on a number of occasions was Floyd, not Manny. That's not "wiping the floor" with an opponent. That's skirting around danger and boxing his way to victory.

A rematch against Pacquiao would only be widely derided by Floyd fans, because they really do not want him to yet again risk losing to Pacquiao. There is a chance that the shoulder was an issue that made the difference, and Floyd fans want none of it.

That said, there's a number of fights Floyd could have taken at 147 that would have not received criticism:
        • Danny Garcia - unbeaten, would have done well on PPV
        • Thurman - unbeaten, less of a name than Garcia
        • Khan - love or hate Khan, he's fast and he's entertaining and he's a name, he would have done well on PPV
        • Kell Brook - unbeaten, got a title, a very credible opponent
        • Timothy Bradley - a very credible opponent, PPV would have been good
        • Manny Pacquiao - haters will hate, but he's still Floyd's biggest rival

That's 6 names off the top of my head. To say there is nobody that would have been a decent opponent for Floyd is pure ignorance. None of those opponents would have drawn the level of criticism that Berto has.

What I'm hoping is that Berto initiates nothing and refuses to engage at all hoping to force Floyd out of his running game then the 14 people in attendance start pelting the ring with tomatoes

if any of you watch it on youtube the next day lemme know what happened

Nobody has criticized him saying he has no heart or balls. Just no chance.

I hope Berto shows up to win despite the odds and not just to collect his paycheck. You can tell sometimes even during the ring entrance whether the guy's heart is in it or not. That's the only way it will be watchable.

Algeri BARELY beat provo and immediately got a shot against pacquiao (thanks BOB ARUM), berto has a way better resume than algeri and would crush him in a match, at the end of the day berto is more a threat to anyone at 147 than algeri will ever be. just facts though

Whatever people say, no ody will buy this fight... And Soro Karass beat the S*#• out of Berto... So did Ortiz.... This fight doesn't make sense.
But like a precious poster said... It is comoletaly irrelevant who Mayweather fights now...
