Floyd vs Berto is no different, other than Floyd being involved. If Floyd was 50, he would still be expected to fight the very best young talent. Which BTW, when was the last time Floyd fought an OLDER opponent?

Its just the hate spewing over.
Thurman/Collazo, Wilder/Molina, GGG/Monroe are the only 3 of those that are the same caliber of mismatch as Mayweather/Berto. So let me address those three:
1- Did we not make fun of Thurman too? Weren't there people laughing at Thurman for calling Khan a cherrypicker and then taking his left overs?

2- I know people made fun of Wilder for being a cherry picker and we still do because he's staying as far away from Povetkin or any fighter with a pulse for as long as he can. What, are you only capable of noticing Mayweather related criticisms that are made? Let me guess, do you also think Quillin (etc) is beloved? That we're all only picking on poor Money May?

3- This I think is not the worst of the three, because at least he was a rated up and coming contender with a decent win over Brian Vera. In general, I'd prefer an up and comer to a washed up opponent if all other things appear equal. I'm not sure who else he was supposed to fight but ok, I'll concede on this one. I don't recall this getting much mainstream criticism. At least 3G didn't try to sell it to us for $75.

Collazo is going to shock the shit out of Team Khan This is a better focused, determined and rededicated version of Collazo and a lot more dangerous.

Collozo stunk up the joint so bad, that its hard not to look good. That being stated ... This win wasn't enough to line Khan up for Floyd.

        Sorry guys

That statement makes him just as delirious as Khan.

berto will be more of a challenge than pacquiao. ..mark my words. .he fought his a.ss off with a legit shoulder injury against soto karass and never cried about it unlike that other guy.. his other 2 losses have been all out wars, fighting guerrero with both eyes shut..only haters think hes a pushover, manny was easy, berto will bring fireworks.

He wouldn't be expected to face the best but then we would just say he ain't no Hopkins!

Mayweather fought and wiped the floor with Pacquiao. There's no one he could fight at 147 and not get criticism. Even a rematch against Pacquiao would have probably gotten hate with people saying "ohh he just wants to make an easy 100 mil. Why doesn't he fight Thurman or Porter?"
