Oleg Maskaev now should say he is TBE. He is 2-0 against Rahman, Lennox is 1-1.

Speaking seriously, Lennox doesn't even deserve to be in top-5 HW of all time, let alone P4P. Losing twice by one-punch KO's to B-level fighters and beating past prime cruiser Holyfield and corpse of Mike Tyson doesn't make you TBE.

people say this about wlad too

chin has nothing to do with hasim rahman or corrie sanders cracking you in the jaw, that stuff will always happen at HW

          defensive lapse? yes

chin? no, nobodies chin would survive

floyd's claim is just as ****ty, his biggest fights were also against washed up, pre-chewed guys, lacks a defining victory

I hate saying this because I'm 'Murican but I definitely believe Lewis could of beaten every HW on his best day but that doesn't mean he couldn't be beaten by others on their best day.

Not sure if that makes sense. But yeah. Lewis is definitely one of the best.

Lewis is probably a top 10 all-time heavy but he certainly can't match Mayweather resume-wise. Mayweathers longevity at the very top level is unparalleled in the history of the sport and there really should be no debating who is the more accomplished of the two.

Although Lewis is clearly the most accomplished heavyweight of his era, possibly since Ali, I still believe a prime Tyson (with d'Amato) beats a prime Lewis and Holyfield. Shame he came off the rails so quickly.

Neither one is the best ever. Runweather top 10. Lewis top 10 heavyweight of all time. Point and period

Yeah, so you're saying getting hit by powerful punchers over an extended period imcreases your ability to take punches....that's an interesting theory that I've never heard of before. Why do think more fighters with weak chins don't try this strategy?

                      statistics only go so far

when you look at lewis you look at a guy who along with the klitschkos and the best of the heavyweight division throughout history, is a candidate for absolute best boxer to ever compete

when you look at floyd the best thing you can say is that through extremely cautious management and a lucky decision (castillo) he managed not to officially lose

nothing else of note really, no other prestige to bestow

heavily benefited financially from being americas only consistent titlist in an era of reality tv and social media but historically it will be hard to look back and separate him from sven ottke and other "i didn't lose" legends
