Past-prime pre-chewed guys? You mean like De La Hoya, Canelo, Corrales, Maidana, Hatton, Castillo, Marquez, Hernandez and Manfredy?
Keep hating.
He lost to Castillo, Marquez and Canelo were "I have the money so you weigh whatever I want and if you complain about it its off" fights, DLH was most definitely pre-chewed by then. His best name wins like Pacquaio Cotto and Mosely were shameless waiting games where he showed no interest until they looked shot.
I will say Hatton is his best win, Hatton was a decent fighter still and he got the KO
Interestingly in hindsight Bernard Hopkins was still in his elongated prime when Joe Calzaghe beat him and I think that becomes a better win than Hatton
Since Joe is also undefeated and has a better defining win than Floyd this could be a real down to the wire TBE decision
Lennox used to irk the **** out of me when he was around...but the one thing i can admit, as much as i despised him and wished for him to lose, i respected his ability
he kicked EVERYone's ass...no questions asked...no diva antics...just fought and beat the **** out of everyone in the division

Lets call Hatton his defining win as a compromise
He beat Castillo clearly the second time around (first fight could have gone either way). I find it baffling how anyone can discredit the Canelo win given the hype Canelo was given prior to the fight - he also brought up the 152 catchweight himself so your argument about weight is a complete non-starter. Marquez may have been too small but this same Marquez went on to knock Pacquiao cold so he was hardly 'past-prime'.
Mosley, granted was past prime but also coming off probably the best win of his career in Margarito. Cotto - beaten by a loaded Margarito and then drained to 145 for Pacquiao. Floyd fought him at 154, which to this day appears to be his best weight and he has gone on to win titles at 160 so hardly 'pre-chewed'.
And Pacquiao was scared of needles.
Got any dirt on Corrales or Hernandez or did you conveniently forget those wins?

Clearly a troll but Calzaghe actually has a very underrated resume. Prime Kessler, Jeff '168lb Mike Tyson' Lacy, Hopkins, Eubank, Bika, Sheika (post Johnson victory) and Jones in New York to finish.
Lewis is no doubt one of the best heavyweights in boxing history. People who disagree are clueless about boxing. The guy's chin wasn't as bad as they made it seem. Lewis freakin' beat Vitali Klitschko who was in his prime at the time and took his best shots at the end of his career.
I mean, hes kind of right. The only boxers that can say they are legitimately the best ever are Heavyweights.
I love SRR and p4p I think he is the greatest fighter to ever live, but the (legit) HW world champion will always be the greatest boxer on the planet.
people always ignore this. I respect the sport and am a big fan of lower weight divisions but they will never be revered like the heavyweight champion. Saying you're the best at 147 is not the same as saying you're the best of a division with no limit.

Exactly. There used to be a reason why being heavyweight champion got the most glory and admiration from people. Bigger risk, bigger reward. Mayweather knows he doesn't run a risk at getting knocked out in devastating fashion because most boxers he fought in his weight divisions aren't capable of that against someone with decent defense and good footwork like Mayweather. The man is a showman and that's his best asset. Money and fame came to him for his personality and persona outside of the ring. Inside of the ring he fools people into thinking he's some kind of magician but it's all an illusion. You can't be an illusionist heavyweight boxing champ for too long. You have to be the real deal and Lewis was the real deal and fought some beasts in the ring and beat them convincingly. Mayweather never fought a beast. Canelo was the closest thing and he was so drained and too green for Mayweather's ring I.Q.
