    yes, a helleuva fighter but undisciplined.

    Like TMT said, light heavy should have been his limit although he embarrassed Holyfield.

    His dismantling of Jirov was awesome.

    Definitely tarnished his legacy by being a big steroid user though. If he'd stayed at 168-175 he might not have felt he needed the PEDs.

      one of my favorite fighters.. its easy to tell these guys to retire but you not gonna pay their bills. . this is what happens when you dont save your money.

            The Pillsbury Dough Boyhasdestroyed all he attained when young...His lack of respect, care ,dedication and honor 2this great sport probably leaves him humiliated and broke..
            He deserves 2b where he is now.. Best thing I can say is good bye...

              maybe would not have beat jirov without PED's. I say he would have lost without them

                Freddie Roach once said James Toney was the most talented guy he had ever trained. He said if Toney had more discipline he would have been the greatest fighter ever. Its sad his career is ending this way. He's probably broke and from his speech seems to be suffering from brain damage.

                  He wasn't that bad of a HW but he just let himself go. At CW he had to have discipline to make weight. Once he didn't have to make weight he just stopped training..

                    Roach told him to retire after the 2nd Peter fight. He said Toney was getting hit by punches he use to avoid. I always enjoyed watching him fight.
