That is the thing. Floyd has mastered the art of deception and how to manipulate to beat the system. He uses his name and who he is in boxing to do that. Boxing rules are applied differently to different people.

For example, Kenny Bayless was interviewed on how he prepared for the FLoyd vs Maidana fight. He admitted that he was taking into account what happened in previous fights for Maidana but strangely didn't say that about Floyd. So Maidana had no chance. Gets deducted a point. Floyd elbows and nothing happens. Hugs and nothing happens. Floyd cries and the fight is stopped for like 5 minutes to attend to his crying even though Kenny saw nothing!!!

Floyd is a protected fighter in Vegas and he knows it and uses it to his advantage.

Boxing is subjective. It's based on a referees interpretation of boxing rules. It's never concrete. Like stepping out of bounds in a basketball game, or firing a 3pointer but only to find out it was only considered a 2 pointer since your stepping on the line. Boxing is not like that. Intentional clinching is foul in boxing, but some referees are lenient and allow excessive clinching ehem Bayless, but some are not. And some referees are obviously shady as well..

Floyd is an example of a protected boxer. It's a no brainer why he only fights in Vegas. He's obviously protected there. He can clinch all he wants run all he wants. No deduction of points will ever happen.

He should have fought Pacquiao after Floyd cherry picked Marquez at light weight and bringing him up to welterweight were Marquez was a bloated lightweight fighting a legit welterweight which looking back showed how big of an obvious mismatch that was and then after that floyd should have fought Pacquiao were in Pac was also a lightweight then, so Floyd will feel he had a great run of cherry picking then after all that add Berto in the mix.
