Berto is **** Berto has never EVER won a meanjnful fight in his life. His claim to fame is getting the leaving **** beat out of him by Victor Ortiz. He beat Freddy Henrnadez doe
Forest Griffin has been washed for like a decade, dude once got ktfo by a jab.He got knocked out twice by Silva therefore shouldn't have been next in line for Jon Jones, which is exactly like the Mayweather Berto situation except Berto doesn't have to move up twenty lbs.Why hasn't Rousey fought Cyborg? Why did we never see GSP vs Silva? Why is a blatant cheater like Vitor still giving opportunities? Why was prime Fedor never matched against the Ufc guys? Why was a guy like Fitch dismissed for no reason?Dude give it up the UFC is just as bad as boxing.

Who got a title shot with a 10-9 record in MMA?

This is a desperate attempt at an excuse from "TBE" for the Berto selection.

The best guys actually fight each other in MMA which is why they have worse records than boxers.

MMA fighters don't usually spend 15+ fights (after an extensive amateur career) fighting over-matched opponents for development and padding their records. Luckily they're also not so quickly written off after losing either.

            Oh god....really?

Rousey Cyborg - weight. Actually working out a fight as we speak.
            GSP Silva - weight.
Vitor Belfort - proven fighter, HOF most likely.
            Fedor - different company.
Fitch - don't know anything about him.

The sports been around for 25 years and you have 4 examples. dude, stfu already before I report you for idiocy. Go stick your thumb up your ass and order Berto Mayweather and talk to your flowemoe friends about how UFC is "just as bad as boxing."

Oh and if Griffin has been "washed up for like ten years" well then Sonnen fought him like 10 years ago. Sooooo......??? Oh he got knocked out by a jab? Pretty sure Judah knocked Mayweather down with something close to a jab. He tripped him doe.

Berto is 3-3 in his last six fights and some oddsmakers have listed him as high as an 80-1 underdog.

Mayweather points to the Ultimate Fighting Championship [UFC], where fighters may have dropped a few defeats but came back with a win or two and were immediately handed a lucrative title shot in a pay-per-view headliner.

LMAO, but Thurman needs to "earn his shot", "Khan needs to earn his shot". Keep digging that hole Mayweather, you might just drive your potential 300K PPV buys down to 75K in a matter of days.

In mma floyd would also get whooped by a girl, why is he comparing boxing to mma? Doesn't change the fact that he is boxing , boxing's version of the brooklyn brawler

You really are a special type of ******. I was pointing out the cracks in the foundation of this supposedly utopian combat arena known as the UFC.You said fighters fight everybody in the UFC then why did Aldo avoid Pettis. Why are so many major fights scrapped because of injury?Your best fighter is currently suspended, and legends like GSP and Tito Ortiz are treated like crap by Dana White.I also called Belfort a cheater what you didn't refute because you know it's true, dud was allowed to fight with abnormally high testosterone levels. As for those things likes weight or the Fedor situation the UFC should have been able to work it out. Also why can't Rousey and Cyborg have a catch weight fight? Why does Cyborg have to be drained? Also if you don't know who Jon Fitch is you're probably not a serious fan of the sport.

****** comparison. There is a difference between getting knocked out and getting knocked down. I knew Floyd haters lacked reasoning skills but this is just dumb. Judah knocked Floyd off balance with a left cross and Floyd went on to dominate Judah while Griffin was KO'd aka lost the fight by only a jab.

Oh and you said UFC guys have to fight guys who are highly ranked in their divisions. Well..Berto is the first guy in YEARS that Floyd has fought who is not ranked in the top ten in his own division. Judah, De La Hoya, Mosley, Cotto, Canelo, Pacquiao, Maidana were all ranked around the top five in their divisions. Even Marquez was the top lightweight when he challenged Floyd. Which would be a lot like Rousey challenging Cyborg.

Look, Berto is an easy touch for Floyd but I'm not going to blame a nearly 40 year old boxer at the end of his career who's been fighting nearly nothing but other world champions for the past ten years, for taking an easy touch.
