I believe common opponents mean a lot. Amir wants Kell to fight credible opponents to make the fight bigger, then Kell should fight Diaz,Alexander then Algeri

To be honest. If Kell knocks out a recent common opponent then this will only put more pressure on Amir Khan build up the anticipation and drive more casuals.

Get a grip. He's retired. I see no real point in the Alexander fight since Khan 12-0'd him. Algieri maybe since I felt he got a draw with Khan.

But all of them won't do that much for Brook. I think the Chaves fight is fine and then if you want to talk common opponents, Brook should aim for Garcia for early next year.

If Kell Brook would nail Alegiei to the canvas as you say he would, this would only drive public opinion and pressure Amir Khan to make the fight.

This gives a really bad example to up and coming boxers. (Fight scrubs all your career then then get a payday)

And that one decent win is all that matters at this stage.
If he hadn't of worked for it he wouldn't have won it and it was away in America against a guy who was unbeaten and had looked pretty scary in recent fights.....i'd say he deserved it.
It's Algieri I think but I too often get it wrong ....such a star.
Khan should fight Porter if we are looking for yardsticks as Porter really put pay to Alexander then Khan went in when he knew the coast was clear.

I am really struggling to understand why you do not want Kell Brook to fight a Amir Khan common opponent to force the fight, and put pressure on Amir Khan and gain casual support ?

Brook v Algerie or Alexanda will be Kell#s second best win of his career.
