Amir Khan's main revenue is from the American broadcasters, sponsers and gate fees .

Brook is largely unknown in America, so from Amir Khans perspective the fight could be a lot bigger if Brook fought a few credible opponents.
    ___________

But he's already said he's not bothered about how much money this fight makes him and that isnt why he's not taking the fight. He just point blank refuses to get in the ring with Kell Brook.

Hearn needed Brook on that show to make it a PPV. Yes Brook could have not fought but there's no harm in getting out again quickly especially having only boxed a few rounds since the stabbing against Dan.

They were always trying to line-up a more credible opponent for towards the end of the year anyway.

An Algeri fight next would be interesting.
That's all well and good but the brunt of the money for a Khan-Brook fight comes from the UK. Sky Box Office PPV and Wembley Stadium ticket sales.

American television is already interested in both fighters. You aren't going to squeeze much more money out of them unless you get it on PPV which isn't going to happen.

Interesting for who ? Pointless target practise.. Chris was down 9 times in his two fights previous to giving Khan nightmare's.A big heavy-handed welter like Brook would nail Algieri to the canvas ....mismatch.

I do agree. Though, I think if brook fought Khan's recent opponents like Alexander and Algeri and Hearn is all for his fighters fighting the same opponents lt will force a fight or make it even bigger. A bit like what hearn is doing with Scott Quigg.

Amir and Kell on ringside again will be golden and having a face off plus heavy promotion the fight could do extremely well ppv 800,000+.

If Kell Brook would nail Alegiei to the canvas as you say he would, this would only drive public opinion and pressure Amir Khan to make the fight.

Alexander and Algieri may well have been offered the fight. Hearn offered it to 5 different people. Whether they accept or not is questionable.

Algieri is coming off two defeats and Devon is coming off a 12-0 drubbing.

It would be better if Khan fought Porter but then we probably wouldn't get a Khan v Brook but then I doubt Khan would ever fight Porter...tricky hey?

I believe common opponents mean a lot. Amir wants Kell to fight credible opponents to make the fight bigger, then Kell should fight Diaz,Alexander then Algeri

To be honest. If Kell knocks out a recent common opponent then this will only put more pressure on Amir Khan build up the anticipation and drive more casuals.
