Good point I guess, definitely fought them all at the right time. But he still did. Honestly who cares, just fight Berto and f*** off into the sunset, he will never be viewed in the same light as a De La Hoya, Mosley, Hopkins etc. Fighters who fought the best against the odds. Whatever.

I really? Cotto gave floyd literally bloody hell in their first rodeo. Trained by an ameture coach and poorly conditioned(cottos fault). He has Gavin which has done wonders for his conditioning. He looks phenomenal physically. And now he's got roach who compliments cottos early style of aggressiveness and body work which made him so devastating early on, under the training of evangelista.Originally posted by Boxing1836 View Postbeating cotto at this point is purely for the title, its not a great win on any resume anymore
Cotto gave him hell In their first fight I can only imagine what he will do a second fight. It will be very rough for floyd. I'm not sure who will win. But I'm certain cotto with his strenght, experience and skill set is the only person who can beat floyd. Will he remains to be seen. That's why I want the the rematch. But we get berto instead becuase everyone e wants to see something new. I'd rather see a great fight and not the whoopin berto is about to get... To each his own I guessLast edited by Don Pichardo; 08-07-2015, 06:11 PM.

First fight wasn't close only Mayweather fans say that..."it was close but May easily won the 2nd fight." At the end of the day Mayweather got beat by a guy who had been knocked out in all 4 of his losses. Lets not pretend that the fact that May had just signed a 5 fight deal with HBO and Castillo was the first of five had nothing to do with it. Castillo wasn't going to mess up HBO's investment they made sure of it, all the judges had May winning by at least 4 points if that doesn't tell you the scorecards were fixed I don't know what does.Originally posted by damian War View Postfirst fight was close, in the rematch castillo got washed.. so..

Robbed? You lost me. I can respect a position that cotto lost but a robbery? We must be talking about another fight. That fight was close. I think cotto pulled it. But let say he lost. It's nowhere near a robbery.Originally posted by JakeTheBoxer View PostPeople are pretending like Cotto didn`t get terrible beating by Margarito in 2008 and like he wasn`t rocked by Clottey also. I think Clottey was robbed in that fight.

Close fight to me. I gave Floyd 1-4 8 10 12. Gave Castillo 5-7 9 11. Scored it 114-112. Castillo did his damage in rounds 5-7. The rounds Floyd won he won on close, but Castillo outlanded him by a lot in the rounds he won IMO. Good fight but I couldn't find 7 rounds for Castillo. And I don't think HBO ever considered Floyd an investment. Leading up to the ndou fight they were talking about how lackluster he was Bc of his defense once his hand issues started.Originally posted by LostOne View PostFirst fight wasn't close only Mayweather fans say that..."it was close but May easily won the 2nd fight." This. The second fight was close, hardly a white wash. The first fight was the less competive fight of the two but somehow history has been flipped.Originally posted by LostOne View PostFirst fight wasn't close only Mayweather fans say that..."it was close but May easily won the 2nd fight."
