        Tyson never gets rated properly.

Either way overrated or way underrated.

And Tua doesn't have fanboys so he won't even get those votes

If you put Tyson or Wlad who has the better chin you'd probably get more votes for Wlad than you will Tua

Tua in my opinion. Don't think Tyson would have took the same punches as Tua, when he fought Ike who was a great puncher.

Not going to give an example of the Lewis fight where Tua went the distance and Tyson got KOed, because we all know the Tyson was way past his prime when they fought.

                Arguable.

Tyson got stopped a few times but his chin was pretty amazing.

He took terrible beatings against Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis before getting stopped.

                  he has a great chin.

but not as good as tua.

ike ibeabuchi landed 332 punches on tua.

102 more than the punches it took douglas to take mike out.

now punch numbers can be off and doesn't tell the whole story BUT eating 100 more punches. similar size men, probably similar power.

1 guy got ktfo, the other barely got hurt.

holyfield, buster would never have koed tua.

                    On both ends -

Ike is also a bit overrated since whenever a fighter vanishes in their prime we ask "What if" for years. While that was a tough fight, 99% of those punches were smothered at extremely close ranges and bad angles (credit to Tua's defense moreso than his chin).

Tyson did stand up to several beatdowns admirably for a while but since he still went down or quit in every example it's hard to give him many "chin points".

Everyone has their own definition of chin I guess.

I think Tua had better defense, underrated defense. Tyson's Dempsey-roll defense worked a lot better when he was very young and turned into a waste of energy after he lost his speed. Tua could only be so slick given his physique but at close ranges he was very hard to land a good flush punch on.
