I really thought that he would've gotten the fight if he had simply kept his mouth shut, but as Jeff Mayweather pointed out, Khan believes his own hype and tried to act like Floyd needed him and basically talked as if he was guaranteed to get the fight instead of just negotiating behind closed doors.Hopefully he'll learn his lessons(doubt it), but Khan is his own worst enemy.

It's honestly tragic when an adult male claims their lifetime dream is to ride the coattails of another adult male.

Khan should have made the decision a long time ago to carve out his own path in the sport, as he was doing previously until he fell in love with the prospect of a Mayweather superfight, his obsession has totally messed him up psychologically and stunted his growth as an athlete.
