He don't but up til Berto it seemed like you needed a big win to fight Mayweather & Khan hadn't gotten that yet. If you aren't doing anything big you can't really complain about not getting the fight is the bottom line to me. If Khan got the fight & Berto didn't Berto would get laughed at like Khan is for saying the **** he says. Thurman (although I heard he's injured), Porter & Brook got a more legit claim they were "ducked" (fml I hate when boxing fans use the term ducking) this time around than Khan or anyone else at 147 or other divisions. -

" best bet for Khan would be beating someone in the top 5 " before talking shht about Mayweather.Well we did eventually get the Pacquiao fight and not many people would have ever thought we'd have had that coming if we told them a few years back.
Certainly is a realistic move, best bet for Khan would be beating someone in the top 5 to have more reason for it but I think reasoning is out of the question when a match up with the best fighter in the world is fighting Andre Berto.
How is somebody who has not fought a top 5 welter deserving of Mayweather ?
Other than Berto of course

I can relate to this argument..........Originally posted by damian Warare ppl really ok with the berto fight just because khan has a big mouth? i dont care how irritating he is, he is way better than berto and i would pay PPV to watch him fight floyd. . i dont understand how you hate somebody just because they want to fight the very best.
Thurman/Khan do not deserve a Mayweather fight, because they have done nothing to earn a Mayweather fight..... but they are both certainly better than Berto.
The real point is, Berto is a retirement fight that should not be on PPV.Comment
