This is why I've lost alot of respect for him. To me he is a way bigger diva then Floyd and Pac put together.

Because Golovkin is mandatory to Cotto's WBC belt. Ideally, I think MOST people, not all but most would like to see Canelo win and the square off with Golovkin in a super fight for the WBA/IBF/WBC/Ring middleweight belts. Or Cotto vs Golovkin, but the general consensus is Cotto is less likely to fight him.

But regardless of that it's just about rules and enforcing those rules and doing what's right. Obviously Golovkin has been waiting for a long while now to get his crack at the lineal middleweight title, so it would be a shame at least in my opinion to see him pushed aside yet again and the #1 ranked Middleweight not being allowed to fight THE champion.
