My issue is why not take the rematch clause, I personally don't see Cotto taking the Golovkin fight period!!! Cotto won't fight GGG to big of a risk for the end of a career. On the other hand, Canelo could lose and continue his career; while Cotto on the other hand doesn't want another loss in another big fight he just can't win! So Cotto might as well agree, so if "when" he loses, he can try his damn hardest to win the rematch and finally give what boxing fans need, his retirement!

Now lets just say...that Cotto Beats Canelo (i don't he will) by either Ko or decision, why should he fight Canelo again? Why? When there is GGG or better yet a $$$ w/ Mayweather. That is why he does not want to commit to signing a rematch clause...screw the rematch just fight!
