PBC doesn't have the market share & critical mass of fighters to do that yet. I think PBC only gots 7 or 8 of the top 20 P4P & he gots maybe 4 divisions where he has multiple top 5 guys (& those fights are being made, Garcia vs Peterson, Santa Cruz vs Mares, Quillin vs Jacobs soon it sounds like, & 147 is deeper so having top 10, top 12 fights like Thurman vs Guerrero & Porter vs Broner are solid too) . That doesn't go far, but at one big fight a month they are doing better than anyone except HBO already it seems to me. Wait til he gots 14+ of the top 20 P4P & has multi top 5 guys in 8+ divisions.

When the UFC started they were doing tournaments with 4th rate Sumo wrestlers & unknown bar fighters. If anyone had told me back then that the UFC would eventually have monthly PPV's & have a 9 digit deal with Fox I'd have told them they were ******ed. Takes time to build ****. In 2-3 years if PBC is able to get that critical mass of talent & get past these lawsuits things will look different than they look 5 months in.

Those fights were the exception not the rule & more about the fighters being difficult then the UFC failing. Now name all the fights the UFC made? That should be an impressive list, if you actually took the time to make it, since top guys are fighting each other every month.

One entity running things is definitely not overrated. Every elite league in sports follows this logic pretty much across the board. Kinda as simple as having everyone under one roof is gonna make more competitive fights, matches, games or whatever you are playing.

Its not even a hard concept to grasp, boxing people are just used to the chaos & think thats normal for boxing at this point. And I guess it is normal for boxing, but it doesn't have to be. Someone will realize that & capture a ****load of money eventually regardless if its Haymon, that Asian AIBA cat or some guy we don't know of yet. Maybe that Russian billionaire guy idk, but it'll happen cuz boxing is just gonna fall further down til it'll take less & less money to pull off a successful takeover.
