Golovkin and Lemieux is a good fight. There's a decent chance that it could end up being GGG's first solid chin check.

I don't care. But you're trying to defend Mayweather/Berto by claiming it's no worse than Golovkin/Lemieux, which is ridiculous. If you were comparing it to Golovkin vs. Ouma or Rosado or something, you'd have a point, but not Golovkin/Lemieux.

That's the thing, I'm not saying they're bad fights. Both are just mismatches however one's given a pass. At least Mayweather's stepped up to the plate and fought most people we wanted him to. Who has Golovkin beat? The one person we want him to fight has to be at a catchweight.

Mayweather's on his last legs, let him have his ****ty mismatch.

I'm not defending it. I know it's a crap fight. I'm just saying people need to call a spade a spade. Ok let me reference your examples, no one gave a crap when Golovkin fought either of those guys.

Just look at the odds for this fight

That being said, Mayweather vs Berto is much more shameful in just about every way
Those are odds and not a prophecy.

Lemeiux is a bigger challenge to GGG than Robert Guerrero, Victor Ortiz, Shane Mosley (the version Floyd fought) were to Mayweather.

First of all, Mayweather has a much much higher status than Golovkin. People may be very high on Golovkin, but Mayweather has a different status him. So it does matter more who Mayweather fights. I do think Golovkin needs to step up more and I think him fighting Lemieux is a good fight that he will eventually win by late KO. Mayweather fighting Berto is unacceptable on all levels, plain and simple. Like I said before can Mayweather fight Berto, absolutely, does he have the right to fight him, absolutely, should the fans be happy about him fighting Berto, absolutely NOT.

The fans protest to Mayweather fighting Berto, if you think about it is a compliment to mayweather. They are saying, you are way better than this dude, the outcome is not in jeopardy so why take on a lesser opponent. That's how I see it.

My prediction: Berto will have more competitive spots with Mayweather than Lemieux will have with Golovkin.

I could see that happening because GGG might spark Lemieux out quickly while Berto will definitely go 12 rounds.
