yawn beterbiev is 30, a zillion amateur fights & 2 time olympian, claims he has Kovalev's number from an amateur fight, can't wait to kick his ass again
he isn't waiting for anything he's just managed by the same GYM/Haymon interests as Stevenson

Instead they could reach an agreement where Beterbiev might get 35-40 of the split. Which is a lot more favorable than 25.

Beterbiev will pick up an easy title against Erik Skoglund or someone and everyone will pretend Kovalev is a duck.Originally posted by The Big Dunn View PostPBC is going to outbid HBO by a significant amount. Forcing the purse bid allows Michel to get his fighter the biggest purse possible. That is him doing his f-cking job!!!
Kov doesn't have to vacate-he can defend. He resigned to HBO AFTER he pulled out of the Stevenson purse bid. He f-cked himself!
Bieterbiev's promoter has more resources. why should he negotiate in a way that lowers his client's purse? even you can see that makes no sense.
Sorry dude but this is Boxing Darwinism-survival of the fittest. either duva gets her money up or gets devoured, simple as that.

That's the smart move. Absolutely nothing wrong with this reasoning.
In a perfect world, Kovalev/Stevenson would happen and then the winner would fight Beterbiev.
