And like other posters have said, Floyd won't even mention Lara's name... let that sink in... Floyd literally pretends Lara isn't even an option... He mentioned GGG, said he had no "special effects" but I doubt that means anything...

Floyd is going on 40 after 20 years on top any fool that has a clue of what they are looking at can see Floyd has faded a lot , he has beat the biggest name fighters one after another from his era and is retiring , you cant fight everyone and the fans of the ones that dont get a shot call duck , its never been any different of any great fighter .

Floyd has been avoiding Lara for awhile now... It's a duck, plain and simple... Floyd fought freaking MAIDANA... how in the hell is that not a cherry pick... and he fought him twice at that... all the while avoiding a fighter who has a real shot of beating him...

I don't know much about Spence, but I do know that he couldn't be any worse than Leonard Bundu or Luis Collazo. If Thurman thinks Spence is a pawn, then he should take the pawn and call Mayweather's bluff.

Instead, Thurman's next fight will probably be against the guy that Robert Guerrero recently beat or the guy that Shawn Porter recently KO'd or another opponent who has lost two of his last three fights by KO.

Floyd is the only fighter on the planet who cherrypicks current world champions to fight instead of real threats like Amir Khan and Keith Thurman.

Thurman is perfectly aware that Floyd is on the verge of retirement. So the answer is no. He won't fight Spence. People need to move on and start talking about other realistic fights for Thurman. How about Jo Jo Dan?

You only PROVE MY POINT... Hatton/Maidana/Guerrero are legimate fights when you can be fighting Lara instead, GTFO... Cotta I get, that's a good match, same with Canelo...so props to Floyd for those fights...and he did fight Manny after what 5 years...But the fact is Lara has been a serious threat to Floyd for a WHILE, and he chose lesser opposition...and now people will say, well, he fought Manny so he doesn't cherry pick, which is untrue
