This post reflects my problem with the situation. They all needed to fight one another in April/May/June to make a statement, leaving no doubt that one of them was head and shoulders above the others putting them in a prime position for the fight. Instead, they all fought a bunch of no-hopers, scared to lose. Some of em still struggled in the process.

Also agree with this. His career ended on May 2 as far as I'm concerned. The next fight means nothing to me.

That is exactly what they did, so why should any of them be rewarded ?

Mayweathers schedule has been visible for at least 3 years.

Nobody made the slightest effort to gain ground on the pack.

Lara would be a much better challenge..... he is a genuine JMW, and he has a much more difficult style than Thurman.

Mayweather is big boy, he can stand on his own two feet, why not fight Lara ?

anyone at 147 will a name I dont mind. Rios, Bradley, Porter, Berto, Khan, Brooks, Devon, whoever he can get in the ring with but he needs to stop all this if I fight this guys then I want mayweather fight ****.

These dudes think one W over a C-B level figther warrants a Mayweather fight and it doesnt. You need a few B+ - A level wins that way you prove yourself at that level now prove yourself against the best. How you gonna skip an entire bracket level and go straight to the best? that makes the fight a farce, a facade.

I agree. Floyd will NEVER fight Lara... Lara is too athletic, too skilled, too much reach, too much speed... Floyd cherry picks... plain and simple: Floyd is a protected fighter... America=obnoxious greed and Floyd fits into the "brand" perfectly, thus why Floyd is the highest paid athlete... It's not JUST a gimmick on Floyd's part, like it's some great masterplan...dude is just a greedy sob that is athletic enough and can cut corners enough to stay on top without always fighting the best... It's all smoke and mirrors...

And you know what the really sad thing... Floyd will end up fighting someone even less of a challenge than Thurman!

And everyone will say he "deserves" it... like they're getting paid to say that ****, even though they're not...
