          A) YES, someone was blaming Thurman for wanting a direct shot. Go back and look at the thread and you will see and B) who is acting like Floyd is ducking Thurman? Take that to the person you intended it for cause I have never once said Floyd was ducking anyone. You're getting confused.

THIS IS A TREND WITH ALL THE YOUNG WW'S

sit around begging floyd who has bigger fish or has the right to take an easy fight after unifying titles in 3 of his last 4 bout with canelo, pac, and chino...all world level..
And if begging Floyd for a fight got you a fight with him if you were a top contender, I guarantee you would be doing it. Thurman can fight anyone he wants after Mayweather hangs up his gloves but he wants the lottery like the rest of everyone on earth who is not a multi-millionaire. That's my point. And when someone says he has to earn it as if Guerrero and Berto and others did, that's a laugh. Its about luck and timing.

oh ok, well I don't agree with anyone blaming Thurman for calling out floyd.....that's what he's suppose to do. There isn't a ww in the top ten aside from Bradley(which is arguable) that deserves a shot at Floyd because they won't fight each other...... It's a damn shame that a 38 year old man has pacquiao, maidana 2× and canelo in his last 4 fights and the other guys have kitty litter for resumes but they think they deserve a shot.

My personal preference would have been for Kell Brook and Thurman to clash to determine Floyd's last fight but I also don't lame Floyd fighting Berto if this is his last fight. But he should not keep fighting for years or come back in a year or two risking his health because he has made his mark as an ATG. He will not go down the road that Roy Jones took of fighting past the point of being shot. He can carry his head high if he does not fight too long.

I am not shocked to hear that Thurman thinks he deserves a fight against Mayweather, but doesn't think Spence deserves a fight against him. None of the fighters of today -- especially Khan, Thurman and Golovkin -- think they should do anything to earn a shot at the big money fights. Everyone one of them thinks they are entitled to a fight against Mayweather or Cotto or Alvarez simply because they exist.

Mayweather fought for years against the best opponents in several weight divisions before he earned his shot against Oscar De La Hoya or even earned his first fight on PPV against Arturo Gatti. Yet, this generation of fighters think they are all entitled to everything.

I don't think Mayweather will ever fight Khan or Thurman and he shouldn't. I think his next fight will be against Brook, but even if he chooses to fight Berto, Mayweather has earned the right to fight whoever he wants and should not simply fight the guy who thinks he should be next in line. I think Mayweather will finish his career in a rematch against the winner of Cotto/Alvarez and then sail off into the sunset.

Thurman, Khan and Golovkin should build themselves into big money attractions by doing the same thing Mayweather has done in his 19-year career.

Totally agree.... I really hope he doesn't comeback because even though I'm a big Floyd fan, he is cancer for the ww division.....his presents has fighters literally putting their careers on hold for him and that's **** is bad for the sport, period.....any logical floyd fan will admit this. Part of the blame should go to the fighters too though.
