what was duran labeled as? a pressure fighter or swarmer?

Duran was classically hard to categorize, because he was able to do so many things so well. In his prime at LW and even WW, he didn't take too many clean punches. But he could brawl with the best and had serious KO power. He was definitely in there to hurt the opponent for real.
