It's difficult to distinct brawlers and swarmers, I'd say Porter is a swarmer, a sloppy one. By the way, this is what I wrote about him today on facebook:
No disrespect but many of you guys hopped on Shawn Porter hype train lately like he's some kind of beast who's fights you should never miss and I get it, he's a very likable guy, a true sportsman and has an attractive fighting style because he's a swarmer, but he's too sloppy at it, he's not elite yet at least, he has to polish his skills to become a top level fighter. I hope he'll do it, I'm rooting for him but I see some very visible flaws I feel should be mentioned.
Pt2
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's a bum, my point is he's not an A level fighter neither. I'm just saying people started bigging him up too much after the Broner win, who he was supposed to beat anyways, plus I'm giving him all the credit for pulling up a victory after being cowardly matched-up by Haymon who tried to drain an ex middleweight to 144 and than it backfired on lazy Broner. The guys you mentioned are A level fighters, Brook included and he beat him easily, however I don't doubt he would be able to give them tough fights but that's all AT THIS MOMENT.Comment

And by the way how do you guys see Lemieux and Beterbiev styles?
I'd like to know how would you guys explain Lemieux and Beterbiev styles? Are they brawlers or swarmers? I haven't seen too much of Lemieux to judge it for sure, while I guess Beterbiev is a swarmer, but has a very low working rate for a swarmer, also his footwork isn't that great, he should get better at cutting off the ring.Comment
